January 11, 2013 MainType 5.1 released

Today we released version 5.1 of our award winning font manager.

MainType 5.1 contains a few bug fixes, and a hand full of tweaks. The most important changes are:

• Reintroduced copy text as RTF from Sample panel
• Fixed a font install issue
• Fixed issue within character grid while in glyph mode

The standard edition allows you to manage up to 10,000 fonts. If your font library hits that limit, you will need the professional edition. The professional edition of MainType can easily handle large font libraries. It allows you to define custom views, resolve font conflicts, and contains auto activation plug-ins for Adobe InDesign that will benefit desktop publishers, graphic designers, and power-users. New features include:

• Font registry fixer
• Invalid font resource overview
• Ability to remove fonts from ignored fonts list
