The View menu groups every display-related toggle and submenu. Items in this menu change what is shown in the glyph editor and the panels around it; they do not modify the underlying glyph data.

Selection Mode

Switches the editor between two selection granularities:

Contour — selecting picks whole contours, suitable for moving and transforming as a unit.

Point — selecting picks individual on-curve and off-curve points, suitable for fine-tuning shape.

Toolbars

Show, hide, and lock individual toolbars: Standard, Tools, Drawing, Overview, Glyph, Grid, and Align or Distribute. The submenu also toggles the Status bar and Tab bar. Use Lock Docked Toolbars to prevent accidentally moving them.

Panels

Show, hide, and toggle docked panels:

Monochrome — show only the underlying outline.

Color COLR — show the COLR layered form.

Fill Outline

Edit Color Layer
